Lyllee's First Haircut

When we got home from our camping trip to South Fork, I decided it was time to cut Lyllee's "naturally grown" mullet. I had been thinking about cutting it for awhile. There really wasn't much to cut off, and I just wanted to even it up a bit.

Swim Class

Here are a few pictures from Lyllee's swim class.

Lyllee had so much fun. The class was all for the whole month of June. (Mondays and Wednesdays) We made lots of new friends.

Here's one of the whole class.

On the last day, Lyllee received a Laffy Taffy candy and her very first certificate that said she passed level one. She was so excited about that.

Some of the things she learned how to do were,

• blow bubbles in the water


• float on her back/belly


• jump/slide into the water


• how to wear a life jacket


• splash with her feet and hands though, she already knew that one.


• "big arms"and "breath stroke" swimming movements


• sing The wheels on the bus, If your happy and you know it, and Motor Boat.. Motor Boat..


• rocket ship, push off the wall with feet.

And of course to have LOTS OF FUN!
