Sunday morning, I put Samantha in her blessing dress. She must have known something special was about to happen because she got this big smile on her face. I wanted to get a few pictures of her in her dress before church. She looked SO beautiful in her dress.
We headed over to church and saved three whole benches for our families. (three wasn't even enough) lol When it was time, Hyrum, his dad, brothers and my grandpa headed up to the front. Hyrum gave Samantha such a beautiful blessing. I love baby blessings. I love at the end when the father holds their baby up so that the congregation can gaze at the beautiful baby. Hyrum always has this excited look on his face when he holds our babies out. It is so cute! I always get this little zing in my heart.
Afterwards, we all went to our place for desserts. There was SO much food! I thought there would be tons of leftovers but, by the time everyone left there really wasn't much.

Sami's cousin Abby was the so interested in holding her. During church she came over to where we were sitting and talked to Sami, made her smile and begged me to let her hold her. I let her hold Sami for a little bit and then told her she could hold her back at our house. Abby was so excited! In this picture, Sami was sitting in her lap just chillin' on her side. She was so comfortable. So cute!
Great grandma Christensen held Sami for a little while, until she started rooting for food on her arm. She gave grandma a HUGE hickey! Sorry grandma.It was really fun to bring our family's together to celebrate Samantha. She is such a sweet baby! We are so grateful to have her in our family. This was such a special day.
