We finally arrived at the train station and Lyllee and I walked up on to the ramp to wait for the train. Well, it seems that as the train approached the landing Lyllee was a bit frightened by the loud roar of the engine. She moved away and said "no, I don't want to". So I had to give her a little motivation to get in to the train. As soon as we were on the train she was just fine and she quickly noticed the stairs and pulled me along to go up the stairs. We waved goodbye to mom and Andy and she was quite excited by this time. As we rode on the train Lyllee told me about all of the things she saw. Some of the things she made sure to point out to me were the railroad tracks, small ponds, horses, and parks.
We finally arrived in Ogden and it was time to transfer to the bus. The first thing she asked was "wheres mom?", I told her that she was back in Bountiful with Andy. When we arrived at the bus she didn't want to get on the bus either, but she warmed up after I helped her in. We finally made it to Weber State University and she ate her little sack lunch while I jotted down a few notes in class. Most everyone in the class said hello to Lyllee as they walked in the room, they really thought she was just adorable. The train ride home was quite pleasing, Lyllee and I decided to watch Madagascar 2, she really enjoyed it.
Now, my only concern is that she might get the idea that she can go on the "school train" when ever she wants. Oh well, we had a great time.
