Andy's Preschool Graduation

Andy graduated preschool at the end of May. His class put on a really cute graduation program showing us parents all the neat things they learned through the year. They learned the alphabet in English and in sign language. They learned a few other words in sign language like mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, etc. They learned how to count to thirty in English and count to ten in German, French and Chinese. They sang songs about the months of the year and holidays that we celebrate during the year. Then they talked about George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and the Lady Liberty. Then they each got to stand up and tell us what they had freedom to do. Andy said that he was free to go to the park.

After the program they called each of Andy's classmates up and presented them with their "diplomas" and took their pictures. Andy was the last one and when they called his name he jumped up and darted across the room so fast that Hyrum barely got it on the video camera. Andy was so excited to finally be finished with preschool.
This is Andy and his preschool teacher, Mrs. Dani. We love her! She was also Lyllee's teacher last year.
We took Andy out for a celebration lunch to Granny Annie's restaurant. While we were eating a lady came over and asked who our graduate was (we had a congrats graduate balloon) and gave Andy a dollar as a present for graduating! He was so excited!
