Andy's week..

Andy has had a pretty busy week. He has been taking some antibiotics for an ear infection and for pneumonia. We finished his last dose last night (Saturday). He was VERY grateful for that because the antibiotics tasted bad. I am guessing that was the case because there was a fight every time he had to take some. And there was NEVER a fight when he had to take some Motrin. Hopefully, he is done with being sick. *fingers crossed.

Although he has been sick, Andy mastered a new skill!

The Art of Using Utensils

In the pictures he is eating Creamy Wheat. I couldn't get him to eat that until now. He is really proud of his new found independence. He doesn't want us to help him anymore. Andy is growing so fast, time sure does fly.
One last little tib-bit of the week. Andy also cut another tooth. He now has the four up top and three on the bottom. His mouth is still pretty swollen everywhere so, maybe there might be a few more suprises this next week.

Andy' first haircut

I decided to give Andy a haircut for a couple of reasons.
(these are in no particular order)

Reason #1:
One of my friends recently cut their child's hair and it got me thinking about it.

Reason #2:
Andy's hair was getting pretty shabby. No symmetry or shape. (not spike worthy either) lol

Reason # 3:
Lyllee was taking a nap, Andy was bored out of his mind without his playmate. (In other words, bugging mom.. )

I decided that if he moved to much it would be too horrible if I just shaved it off, he has a nicely shaped head. Luckly, it didn't get that far.

Things are looking up!

Well, it's been awhile since I have had anything blog worthy to jot down. However, here are a few recent events that might be.

We planned a wedding for my sister Betsy in 12 days. It turned out great even with the short amount of time.

Both of my kids came down with STREP around the week of Christmas. ( a cold followed)

Hyrum finally got the call back he had been waiting for. He got the job at Sorenson Communications!! He started on January 2ND, and is just in paradise. (apparently they have a REALLY amazing break room)
I got to quit my job at Smiths Marketplace. (I was even able to put in a full two weeks.) That was a really great Christmas present. (Exactly, what I wanted.)

Today we found out that we are having another girl! Lyllee is pretty excited except that she keeps saying she is getting a new baby BROTHER.

Lastly, for New Years my sister-in-law and I scrapbooked our buns off 'til the wee hours in the morning. It may not seem too blog worthy to mention but, I got quite a bit done in my kids books. 7- two page layouts!

I guess there really is light at the end of the tunnel.
