Samantha is NINE months!

*This is a little late but, I don't want to forget.

Samantha is growing soo fast! I can't believe how fast nine months has gone by.

Here are the stats from her nine month check-up:

March 3, 2010

Weight: 17 lbs. 3 oz. (25th percentile)

Length:  28 1/4" (75th percentile)

Head Circumference:  17 7/8" (80th percentile)

Favorite Foods:

• Oatmeal
• Toast
• Apples and Strawberries
• Baby Back Ribs (We were at Costco and gave her alittle and she LOVED it, kept wanting more!)

Milestones:

• Transitioned from army crawling to regular crawling.
• Drinks from a straw.
• Learned to blow air through her mouth.
• Pulls herself to stand.
• Starting to cruise along the furniture.
• Climbing up the stairs.

Teeth:

• She has two teeth on the bottom.

Sleep Schedule:

• Right now we are working on sleeping longer through the night in her own bed. She is doing pretty good with that. She gets stuffed with oatmeal and mom's milk at 8:30, goes to sleep about 9:00 and sleeps until 2:00am. She eats, goes back to sleep 'til 5:00 and then gets up for the day at about 9:00 am. She has two 30-60 min naps during the day.

Another Update.

It seems as though all I ever do are updates lately. You would think I would have more time to keep up with this blog now that I only have school on Fridays.  Well, here's what is going on on our side of town.

1. I finished my hours in the Cosmetology program at Salt Lake Community College. I just need to finish my two classes on fridays (Sm. Business Management and Human Relations) and I will be done. Yay, for graduation day! Which I might add is on my birthday this year! I will for sure have to have a party.

2. Hyrum is leaving next week for a business trip to LAS VEGAS!  He is going to be gone for a WHOLE WEEK. Lucky him!

3. The house hunting continues. We have seen quite a few houses, and have seen a couple that we like but not so much that we have to buy them. After owning a house before, I think we are a little more picky about what we like and don't like.

4. My phone broke last week. I have been lost without it. I have been using Hyrum's phone. I don't like it. We bought a cheap replacement last night at Costco. I don't like it but, it was all that we could buy. We have four months left on our contract and to upgrade a phone and not extend our contract you can only have two months left on your contract. LAME! Luckily, this specific phone can be returned within 90 days and then I can replace my phone for a better one. We aren't too impressed with T-mobile but, they are cheaper than all the other companies. So, we will probably stay with them after the contract is up.

Hopefully, I can start managing my time in a more organized way and find time to post more often. I'd like to post something that is "in the moment" instead of a bunch of "after thoughts". I guess we will see. Until next time...
