"Hyrum, Come on Down!" (Day three)

We went to a taping of The Price is Right! And no, we didn't get called down. *sad face* But, it was really fun to go and see the show in person. I have watched the show since I was a little girl and have always wanted to go to the show, and you know what? It's funny, they still don't listen to you when you are yelling the right answer in person either. (I spent years yelling at the TV telling the contestants the right answer and they never listen!) lol So let me break down the day to you.

We had to be there at 8:30 in the morning so, we hurried and ate breakfast, packed the bags and checked-out of the hotel and headed over to CBS Studios. They gave us a questionnaire to fill out and a number. Then we stood in line for an hour waiting for each person to get their name tag and picture taken. After our picture, we headed to another line on the side of the building for another hour while the shows producer took groups of twenty aside to do a group interview. This is where they decide whether you are "cool and crazy" enough to get called as a contestant. After that they took us around the building to sit in line again for another hour. In this area they had TVs showing old episodes of the show that you could watch. They finally started letting groups of twenty in to take their seats. We got to our seats at 12:25. It's crazy how big they make the stage look on TV because it isn't bigger than my high schools auditorium stage. Drew Carey looks pretty old, probably because of all the weight he lost. His skin is a bit droopy.

As I said before, we didn't get called down but, the girl right in front of us got called down! She won a car in the game she played AND she also made it to the final showcase but, didn't bid high enough and the other guy won! Then, at the end of the taping they called out a number for a prize. It happened to be the guy right next to Hyrum!

We finally left at 2:15 p.m. and since we had already checked out of our hotel we headed down to Anaheim for some fun in Disneyland! We checked into our hotel which is AWESOME!! It has a full kitchen in it! I know, pretty lame to be excited about a kitchen. haha After we got settled in at the hotel we decided that it was time to eat since we hadn't eaten all day. So we walked over to the Cheesecake Factory! Yum! Our waitress was really nice and the food was amazing of course. Then our waitress surprised us with a super yummy slice of strawberry cheesecake for dessert.
